Privacy Policy

Short, because there is not much to say.

This site sets no cookies

We use no cookies, no analytics script, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Two things are stored in your browser's localStorage and never leave it: your light or dark theme choice, and — only if you arrived through a referral link — the referral code from that link.

What the contact form collects

When you send us a message we collect your first and last name, your email address, an optional phone number, what you want to accomplish, an optional best time to reach you, an optional description of your nonprofit, how you heard about us, and anything else you choose to tell us.

If you arrived through a referral link, the referral code is submitted with the form so we know who to thank.

Who else sees it

Your message is stored in our own content system and emailed to us immediately through a transactional email provider acting as a processor on our behalf. Cloudflare hosts this site and provides the Turnstile check that keeps the form from being used by bots.

We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not share your message beyond the people at Protégé who will answer it.

How long we keep it

Leads are deleted automatically after 24 months. Backup copies age out within a further 90 days. If you would like your message deleted sooner, email us and we will do it.

Testimonials and referrals

If you send us a story through our story form, nothing is published until you have ticked the consent box and we have reviewed it. If you sign up to refer people, your details stay private and no referral code is issued until we approve the signup.
